10-year film warranty
The AP Motor Co film we install is warranted for 10 years against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling caused by a defect in the film. If the film fails in one of those ways, the affected panel is replaced.
1-year workmanship warranty
For one year after your install, we cover problems caused by how the film was installed, such as:
- Edges that lift or won't stay down
- Bubbles or air pockets that don't clear on their own within a few weeks
- Dust or debris trapped under the film during installation
If one of these shows up, we come back to you and fix or replace the affected film at no charge.
What isn't covered
- Damage from accidents, vandalism or impacts that tear or puncture the film. That's the film doing its job and protecting the paint underneath.
- Damage from improper care, such as a pressure washer aimed at film edges, abrasive compounds or harsh solvents.
- Paint that was already damaged, repainted or poorly bonded before the install. Film adhesive can lift weak paint when it's removed.
- Normal wear and natural aging over the life of the film. Real-world life depends on sun exposure and how the car is washed.
Keep your warranty in good shape
- Wait about 7 days before the first wash so the adhesive fully cures.
- Small water bubbles or haze right after install are normal and clear up within a couple of weeks.
- Hand wash or use touchless washes, and keep pressure-washer nozzles at least a foot from film edges.
- Use pH-neutral car soap. Ceramic coatings and sealants made for PPF are fine.
How to make a claim
Email support@raleighmobileppf.com with a few photos of the problem, your name and roughly when the film was installed. We'll take a look, and if it's covered we'll schedule a time to come to you and fix it.
