A shop that comes to you
Raleigh Mobile PPF is a mobile paint protection film installer based in South Raleigh. We bring the film, lighting, prep products and tools to your garage, driveway or office parking deck anywhere within 30 miles, covering Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Apex, Wake Forest, Chapel Hill and the rest of the Triangle.
Getting PPF has usually meant dropping your car at a shop for a day or more and arranging a ride both ways. We started this business to take that hassle out of it. You book online, we show up, and the car never leaves home.
The film we install
We install AP Motor Co paint protection film: a 8.5 mil TPU gloss film with a self-healing top coat, so light scratches and swirls disappear with heat from the sun or warm water. It's backed by a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, bubbling and peeling. See our warranty page for the details.
The film comes in precision pre-cut patterns made for each vehicle, so it's shaped to your exact panels before we arrive. Nobody takes a blade to your paint to trim film on the car.
How every install goes
- Confirm the details. We review your request, confirm the exact coverage and price for your year, make and model, and lock in the day.
- Inspect the paint. We walk around the car with you and point out any existing chips or scratches before we start.
- Prep. We wash and decontaminate every panel being covered, so nothing gets trapped under the film.
- Install. Film is laid, positioned and squeegeed panel by panel, with edges wrapped wherever the panel allows.
- Final check. We inspect every edge with you, go over aftercare, and you're done. You can drive the car the same day.
No rushing
Most installs take a full day, and we block off the whole day for your car even when the job is smaller. Full body installs get back-to-back days. If wind or rain would compromise an outdoor install, we reschedule rather than force it.
