What affects the price of PPF
- How much of the car you cover. This is the biggest factor. A partial front covers only the leading edge; full body covers every painted panel.
- Vehicle size and shape. Trucks, SUVs and minivans have bigger hoods and bumpers. Complex bumpers with sensors, vents and sharp creases take longer to wrap well.
- Edge wrapping. Wrapping film around panel edges, where the panel allows, hides the edge and helps it last, but takes more time and material.
- Add-ons. Ceramic coating on top of the film, door handle cups and the rear-bumper load area add a little to the total.
Is PPF worth it?
A single professionally repaired rock chip, or a respray of a bumper or hood, can cost several hundred dollars and never quite matches factory paint. PPF stops the damage before it happens and keeps original paint intact, which helps resale and lease turn-in. For most new cars, full front PPF gives the best protection for the money.
Does mobile installation cost more?
No separate "mobile fee" is built into our online estimates. You get the same professional install at your home or office, without losing a day to drop-off and pick-up. Locations outside our usual area may have a travel fee, and we'll tell you before you book.
