Where Porsches chip
Every Porsche takes chips on the nose, hood and front fenders. Rear-engine and mid-engine cars have one more weak spot: the wide rear fenders, or "haunches," on the 911 and 718 sit directly behind the front tires and catch debris thrown back off the road. The leading edges of those rear fenders are one of the most commonly chipped areas on the car.
Recommended coverage
- 911 and 718: Track Pack plus the leading edges of the rear fenders, or full body PPF, especially for GT cars that see track days.
- Taycan: full front or full body. Its low, wide nose and long fenders take a lot of highway debris.
- Macan and Cayenne: full front PPF, plus the rear bumper load area where cargo slides over.
Special and Paint to Sample colors
Paint to Sample and special colors are expensive and hard to match if a panel ever needs paint. Film keeps the original finish intact. Let us know if your car has a matte or satin finish when you request a quote.
